A Princess requires grace, poise, composure, wisdom, and - most importantly - confidence.

"'TIA! THAT'S NOT FAIR!"



What started as a silly little sketch done late in the work day is now finally full-on art! I'm not going to call her Trollestia as that implies a certain callousness on Celestia's part that I don't think exists. She's just having fun. Luna's just trying to follow the spirit of the lesson as much as she is the letter, Celestia is following... a 'few' of the tenets of the lesson.

I wanted them to appear younger, so they are supposed to be more adolescent in this. I'm not sure it worked out so well. They don't have their cutie marks because I imagine that this would have happened before they took their places as Princesses of the day and night. This works or doesn't depending on your own head-canon of the Princesses' history, so I urge everyone to just go with it. If you think they should have their cutie marks, just imagine them in there!

Adobe Illustrator. So many fewer layers than some of my other vectors. *cough*

I'm sorry, but did you just exemplify an understanding of the meaning of the word "troll" and avoid using it to describe Celestia?

Meh. I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to some words. 'Tia doesn't deserve to be called a troll. (I'm biased like that!)

That isn't bias, that's an actual understanding of the meaning of the word troll, something a lot of people can't seem to grasp.
