Oh good lord, there's a second sleepy princess! Must be a Narcolepidemic!
I got more ambitious with this one (surprise, surprise...). The pose itself proved to be harder to draw for some reason, as my sketch here
can attest. I was also more liberal with the gradients and slapped those suckers on everything (check out the translucent areas of her mane/tail). Oh, and most difficult of all, I tried to figure out her colors. We've seen her before she changed, and it does look like her overall scheme is darker. We've also seen her after, but not in good, direct lighting. After changing the color of every layer a dozen times I finally found a combo that feels right.
I made her in more
pieces than my Sleepylestia posting, but it actually ended up being easier this way. I had better control over each part. Plus, by doing it this way, I'm getting first hand practice with how they assemble ponies on the show (I think). There may be animations in the future.
Now shush, Luna's trying to take a nap...
Photoshop. Due to the sparkles my LayerCounter(tm) broke.
I gotta' give
and Hasbro credit for My Little Pony.
P.S. Sleepylu... Sleepyna... Nah, it has to be Sleepyluna. Short names are too hard to break.
Ninja-update: Someone went over Luna with an electron-scanning microscope and found a flaw in the original file. I don't know how. I couldn't let that stand!
